Client: White Matter Games - Player Character Concepts

We ultimately decided that the player character should be shorter and that he would have a more Mafioso Inspired jacket to wear as the designs were coming along.

This jacket, in the story, was originally owned by the Main Antagonist of the game who would also serve as a final boss whom the player would have similar powers/abilities to.

These concepts also double as conceptual designs for NPCs and Neighborhood Kids if the designs didn't quite fit.

I personally took the liberty of giving them unique names to distinguish them during group conversations and meetings.

These are the procedural designs with silhouettes and line art tests with goal to create a style heavily inspired by flash/web/limited animated shows:
